Given the challenging year, the Board of Directors has decided not to declare dividends for the FYE 2023, prioritizing the need to maintain healthy cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for the Group’s business operations.
However, due to limited opportunities to secure new projects for FYE 2023, our revenue decreased by 37.3% to RM319.6 million, from RM510.1 million a year ago.
Yet, the Group continued to maintain a healthy balance sheet and a net cash position with no bank borrowings.
Cash and cash equivalents stood at RM69.0 million compared to RM29.0 million a year ago, higher by 137.6% attributed to improved collection of receivables, release of pledged fixed deposits upon successful completion of projects and proceeds from sale of plant and equipment.
No dividend was recommended by the directors for the financial year.
